What is the Arkle Challenge Trophy Chase?
The Arkle Challenge Trophy Chase is a Grade 1 National Hunt chase which is run at Cheltenham generally on the first race of the Cheltenham Festival.
This years race will be held on Tuesday 14th March 2023
This race is a novice chase open to horses aged five years or older. It is run on the Old Course at Cheltenham over a distance of about 2 miles. During the race there are thirteen fences to be negotiated.
