System 202 takes the Speed Rating approach into non-handicap hurdles and chases. Developed from the ratings recorded since the One Stop Racing app launched on 3 August 2026, its original research sample returned 30 winners from 102 bets: +42.66 points at early prices and +25.91 points at SP, to 1pt win stakes.
Those are historical back-test results, not a record of tips issued under the System 202 name. The system entered the app on 30 October 2026. Here is how it works, what the research found and what to keep in mind before following it.
What is System 202?
The app labels it “(202) SR Jumps Non-Handicaps”. SR means Speed Rating. System 202 identifies the highest SR in an eligible race and checks whether its morning price falls within the system’s price band.
Unlike System 201, which targets double-figure prices across non-handicaps, System 202 concentrates on hurdle and chase races at shorter prices. They are separate systems: a System 201 winner is not automatically evidence for System 202.
The qualifying rules
- GB and Ireland only. Overseas meetings are excluded.
- Hurdles and chases only. Flat racing, National Hunt Flat races and bumpers do not qualify.
- Non-handicaps only. Handicap hurdles and handicap chases are excluded.
- Highest Speed Rating. The horse must be top-rated on SR among the runners considered when the selections are calculated. Joint top-rated horses can all qualify, provided each meets the price rule.
- The morning price band. The familiar fractional range is 2/1–13/2 at the 07:15 early-price snapshot. Precisely, the app accepts decimal prices of at least 3.0 and below 8.0; 7/1 is excluded.
Non-runners and abandoned races are not bets. Once the day’s system selections have been calculated and locked, a later non-runner does not promote another horse into the system. A price moving into range later in the day does not create a new morning qualifier.
How it was developed
Since the app’s launch on 3 August, the saved ratings have allowed us to examine how different columns perform across race types and price bands. System 202 emerged from that research, concentrating on SR in non-handicap hurdles and chases rather than adding trainer, jockey or course restrictions.
There is a practical reason to investigate this combination: the Speed Rating offers one way to compare demonstrated performance, while non-handicap races are not framed around handicap marks to equalise runners’ chances. But an SR advantage does not guarantee a win. Jumping, stamina, conditions and fitness still matter.
Importantly, these rules were selected after examining historical results. That creates a risk of finding a pattern that looks stronger in the research than it will prove in future racing. The next test is its performance on new races, not further polishing of the same back-test.
The original research results
The figures below cover the 102 settled qualifiers in the saved research dataset, dated 4 August–26 October 2026. They are not an updated total through the end of October and do not include the live period from 30 October. Returns use 1pt win stakes per selection, with Early and SP shown separately. They do not assume a Best Odds Guaranteed concession.
| Period | Bets | Winners | Strike rate | Early profit | SP profit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| August | 23 | 8 | 34.8% | +14.25 pts | +10.41 pts |
| September | 24 | 8 | 33.3% | +18.83 pts | +13.88 pts |
| October, to 26th | 55 | 14 | 25.5% | +9.58 pts | +1.62 pts |
| Total | 102 | 30 | 29.4% | +42.66 pts | +25.91 pts |
That represents a historical return on stakes of 41.8% at early prices and 25.4% at SP. Each month in the sample was profitable at both measures, although October’s SP profit was only +1.62 points.
Hurdles versus chases
| Race type | Bets | Winners | Early profit | SP profit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Hurdles | 76 | 23 | +31.33 pts | +18.00 pts |
| Chases | 26 | 7 | +11.33 pts | +7.91 pts |
Both were profitable in this sample, but the chase sample is particularly small. These results are a reason to monitor the approach, not proof that either group will maintain the same returns.
What happens without the biggest winners?
Removing the three largest early-price winning returns leaves +24.16 points at early prices from 99 bets. Separately, removing the three largest SP winning returns leaves +6.91 points at SP from 99 bets. These are separate stress tests, not necessarily the same three horses.
The longest losing sequence in the saved sample was 10 bets. Future losing runs can be longer. The stronger early-price result also shows why the odds actually available to you matter.

Following System 202 in the app
Diamond members can look for “(202) SR Jumps Non-Handicaps” in the All Systems grid. There will not necessarily be a qualifier every day. All joint-top qualifiers that satisfy the rules count individually in a level-stakes record.
You can use the other rating columns as context, but adding your own filters changes the strategy and means these published results no longer describe exactly what you are following. Keep a record of the price you actually obtain, avoid chasing losses and use stakes you can afford to lose.
