WEEKEND RACING

A tough weekend overall for punters with lots of longer odds winners but Minnie Hauk @ the Curragh did not disappoint – the first Irish Oaks Winner out of Frankel. She looked calm during prep for the race and calm in the parade ring and stuck to her task very well. Making her the 16th filly to complete the English/Irish Oaks double. More glory for the Coolmoore stud and the O’Brien/Moore partnership.

What’s next for her?

OUR SYSTEMS

Another great weekend for our systems- 21 winners Friday- Sunday and that’s on top of all the winners the rest of the week.

We often get asked “How do I use your systems?” Well the answer is that there are a few options.

🌟Overall they are a huge time saver that gives you a shortlist of high probability winners and many use them for just that. Making their main betting selections of the day from the best of our systems rather than trawling through every single race card and every single runner themselves. Obviously we still recommend you check the selections over manually to make sure they make sense before your overall decision ( say for example the going changes on the morning).

🌟Some people like to narrow the systems selections down even further and put them in doubles, lucky 15’s and so on – so picking the best of the best.

🌟Others like to wait for those systems selections that offer great value odds and only bet on those – so fewer bets but better value options.

🌟Then we have our members who lay only and use the systems to find good lay opportunities they can investigate further before making a final decision on which horse to lay.

If you have questions get in touch or try them out for yourself

THIS WEEKENDS SYSTEM WINNERS

Keith’s boy Dutch Decoy winning again – that’s 2 in a row now. Maybe it’s time we had a Onestopracing Syndicate horse?

APPRENTICE ONLY RACEDAY

Sunday 20th July saw the first apprentice only race day take place at Redcar. This is designed to give apprentice jockeys a fuller book of rides and make connections with trainers and owners. There was a similar day at Goodwood last month and this looks to be a great new initiative to provide apprentices with a wider experience. I’m sure the senior jockeys will be enjoying the chance of a rare mid-summer day off in what is a packed flat season.

These days seem well supported and it’s a chance for us punters to see future talents on show.

FOR THE LOVE OF RACING

Now if any of you love a story of hope and the under dog winning (and I absolutely do) have a look at Trojan Storm who won at Ascot on the 12th July for Green Bar Owners. A simple but very enjoyable story about a landlord and some regulars who bought one horse to get involved in racing and didn’t do very well but they didn’t give up and tried again and got a win at Ascot. Always nice to read stories like this that show the joy horse racing can bring to people, we all need a bit of “never give up” motivation sometimes. You can see the original post on Facebook (Alexandra Wimbledon – Trojan Storm).
